In-person lessons
At Honar Academy, our in-person music classes are designed to nurture not only strong technique but also deep musical understanding. Every lesson blends practical training with insights into the pieces students play, including structural analysis, and ear training to support expressive interpretation. Our programs welcome students of all levels - from beginners to advanced musicians - with personalized guidance and progress evaluations every five lessons to ensure each student's full potential is recognized and supported.
We offer private and small group classes (no more than three students), available both in our elegant studio and in the comfort of students’ homes. Subjects include piano, Theory, Solfeggio, Harmony, Composition, Music listening and History, and Analysis. With experienced teachers who bring both university-level expertise and heartfelt dedication, our academy provides an inspiring environment for musical growth. Lessons are available every day, including weekends. To learn more about scheduling, availability, and tuition, please contact us directly - we look forward to welcoming you.

Online Lessons
Distance is no longer a barrier to quality music education. Our online lessons are thoughtfully designed to offer the same personal connection, care, and expert guidance as in-person sessions. Whether you’re at home, traveling, or in another country, you can continue your musical journey with teachers who are dedicated to your growth, right from your screen.
We especially recommend online theory lessons, alongside instrument classes, giving you the freedom to study from home while staying focused and energized. With easy access to articles, papers, and essential books shared through your screen, you’ll build a deeper, well-rounded understanding of both your instrument and the language of music.
Our dedicated teachers, based across Canada and beyond, bring diverse experiences to your lessons. Whether you’re improving technique or exploring music theory, you’ll be supported by musicians eager to share their knowledge and help you grow.

Workshops & Masterclasses
Our Workshops and Masterclasses offer a valuable opportunity to connect with other students working at your level. In these sessions, you’ll not only learn from our teachers but also gain insight by observing your peers. Comparing your progress with others can give you a clearer sense of where you are in your studies and what pace suits you best.
These classes are designed for students who want to dive deeper into their learning. Alongside your teacher’s guidance, you’ll have the chance to learn from other students - observing their technique, hearing their interpretations, and discovering new ideas through their questions. Often, this shared experience reveals details and perspectives that might not surface in one-on-one lessons.
Workshops and Masterclasses are typically longer than regular lessons, allowing time for more detailed explanations, demonstrations, and feedback.
