Arash Seyfipour

Founder & Director

Arash Seyfipour is a composer, pianist, and educator whose musical journey spans three continents, reflecting a lifelong dedication to the art and spirit of music. Born in Tehran, Iran, he began his studies under the guidance of master musicians, first learning traditional instruments such as the Tar and immersing himself in the rich heritage of Persian classical music. His path later led him to the piano, where he developed a deep commitment to the Western classical tradition.

In 2005, he moved to Ukraine to pursue formal academic training in music. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano, Composition, and Theory from the Odessa Academy of Music (Nezhdanova Conservatory), followed by a Master’s degree in Composition and Piano from Ushinsky University of Pedagogy. During this time, he studied with distinguished Russian and Ukrainian mentors, whose rigorous methods profoundly shaped both his artistry and teaching philosophy.

His work has been recognized through participation in prestigious music festivals in southern Ukraine and Germany, receiving multiple awards for excellence in both composition and piano pedagogy.

After graduation, he served as an examiner for university music programs and later became a lecturer at the University of Art (Honar) in Tehran. From 2011 to 2023, he also ran a private piano studio, mentoring students of all levels — many of whom have gone on to pursue professional music careers and advanced studies across Europe and North America.

Since 2023, Arash has been based in Canada, where he is currently completing a PhD in Music Composition at Western University in London, Ontario. Now residing in Vancouver, he remains active as a teacher, composer, and advocate for musical excellence.

His teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that music is not only a discipline but also a vital force in daily life. He draws on his multilingual and multicultural background to make complex topics in harmony, theory, and composition accessible and engaging for a diverse range of students.

More than mere instruction, Arash seeks to guide each student toward a meaningful, lifelong relationship with music as an enduring source of inspiration, discipline, and self-discovery.
