Harmony & Solfeggio
Harmony, as a concept, has evolved throughout music history, shaped by changing styles, aesthetics, and cultural values. At Honar Academy, we guide students through the three major epochs of harmonic language, offering both historical context and practical application. In parallel, solfeggio follows a progressive path, training inner hearing through systems that have developed over centuries. It cultivates the ability to imagine, identify, and reproduce pitches and rhythms, while strengthening sight-reading, intonation, and musical memory. Together, harmony and solfeggio provide the essential foundation for a more intuitive, expressive, and informed musical journey.
Composition
Composition is one of the most powerful ways to internalize and apply everything a student learns in music.
