Manisha Daei

Manisha is a Vancouver-based classical pianist and piano educator with nearly a decade of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Music in Classical Piano Performance and has developed a teaching approach that combines strong classical foundations with thoughtful, individualized instruction.

Her teaching draws from European/Russian and North American pedagogical traditions, with particular attention to healthy technique, posture, tone production, musical expression, sight-reading, and the development of confident, independent musicianship. She works with students of a wide range of ages and levels, from young beginners to advanced pianists preparing for performances and Royal Conservatory of Music examinations.

As a Registered Music Teacher (BMRMTA) and RCM Certified Teacher, Manisha brings both professional training and extensive practical experience to her work. Her students have achieved excellent results in RCM examinations, including marks in the 90s, while developing a deeper understanding of technique, musicianship, and artistic expression.

Her lessons integrate piano performance with theory, ear training, rhythm, and musical understanding, allowing each student to develop a well-rounded foundation. Manisha is passionate about creating an encouraging yet high-standard learning environment where students can grow in confidence, artistry, and their connection to music.
