Manisha Daei
Manisha Daei is a Vancouver-based classical pianist and piano teacher with nearly a decade of teaching experience working with children, teens, and adults of all levels. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Music in Classical Piano Performance and is an active Registered Music Teacher (RMT) member of the British Columbia Registered Music Teachers’ Association (BCRMTA).
She studied piano under Dr. Emily Logan, music theory with Dr. David Duke, and conducting with Gerald Van Wyck, experiences that continue to shape her artistic and pedagogical approach.
Her teaching combines the technical foundation of the Russian piano school with the expressive traditions of European classical music. Lessons are thoughtfully tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and personality, creating an encouraging and inspiring environment for musical growth.
Manisha works with both recreational and serious students, including those preparing for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations. Her teaching focuses on building strong technique, musicality, confidence, and long-term enjoyment of music.
Whether a student is beginning piano for the first time or pursuing advanced study, Manisha is dedicated to helping each individual develop their artistic potential through thoughtful, personalized instruction.
